Fundraising

Parent fees do not fully cover all the school's expenses. Fees contribute to salaries, rent and supplies, but many capital expenses - new equipment, for example - are met through fund-raising.

Fund-raising activities are an opportunity for you as a parent to become involved and a chance for your neighbours and friends to contribute to a community-based school.

Throughout the year you will receive information regarding up coming fund-raising events. We strongly encourage each family to participate.

In addition, we accept donations throughout the year in the form of snack supplies, juice (real fruit juice), kleenex, bathroom tissue, paper towel, gently used toys, craft supplies, etc. If you have anything that you think would make a good donation, please contact us.

  Scholastic Book Club

Each month you will receive a flyer from the book club. The books in the flyer are all geared towards preschool aged children. They are excellent quality books at a great price. The Nursery School receives free books and a percentage of our monthly sales in bonus coupons which can be used to purchase books, teaching aids and equipment for the classroom.
